Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant that is interested in working hand-in-hand with the Company’s Chief Financial Officer to not only be responsible for accounting for the operation of the business, but someone that seeks an opportunity to put their fingerprint on a wide variety of accounting, financial, and business activities with a focus on improving operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • General ledger ownership to include month-end close and consolidation of our Australian subsidiary
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements and actual vs plan reporting
  • Analysis and reconciliation of accounts, including bank statements
  • Development and monitoring of internal controls
  • Payroll administration (working with outsourced payroll partner)
  • Accounts payable, including internal expense report reimbursement
  • Accounts receivable, collections, and invoicing
  • Project percentage of completion revenue, cost accounting and reporting
  • Business and accounting process & system development
  • Regularly work with executive management

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • BS degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of Accounting experience and General Ledger related activities
  • Previous experience with Quickbooks is a plus
  • History of working in fast paced, ambiguous startup environments and ability to deal with the unpredictable
  • Self starter looking to have a significant impact on accounting and financial processes, internal controls and policy development

Unity 3D Developer

We are looking for an experienced Unity 3D developer to take ownership of and put the finishing touches on our mobile applications. The mobile apps provide a display of historical market performance and allows users to modify their market settings in order to understand and adjust their power purchasing behavior.  You will pick up a large existing code base written in Unity C# and build upon it to achieve production-readiness. You will work with the Product Owner to ensure the app performs to product and performance requirements. You will provide frequent high quality releases to the Product and Stakeholder teams for review and release approval.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of Software Development focused on consumer facing products.
  • 3+ years experience with Unity 3D and C# Development.
  • Experience developing and deploying apps to the Android and iOS app stores.

We are looking for a Platform Architect to help take our proof-of-concept code base to production readiness and scalability. You will coordinate, document, and define the LO3 platform architecture based on product requirements, timelines, and technical requirements. You oversee and collaborate with development teams to prioritize the development of key platform features and devise implementation strategies to minimize the accrual of technical debt.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • BS degree (MS preferred) in an engineering or computer discipline or relevant certification.
  • 8+ years software engineering and system architecture experience.
  • Familiarity with large cloud-based IoT systems that include mobile applications and devices.
  • Demonstrated experience building cloud-based infrastructure using serverless, containers, and microservice design patterns.
  • Demonstrated expertise with one or more programming language (Python, Go, Ruby, Javascript).
  • Demonstrated experience with relational and non-relational (NoSQL) databases, core understanding of the database architectures and applications.

We are looking for a Platform Quality Owner to participate in the development of our product. As the Platform Quality Owner you will work with the Product team to understand product requirements and provide those as acceptance criteria to the development team. You will define the acceptance criteria for new platform features and capabilities. You will contribute to code and design reviews to ensure work meets the product quality and acceptance criteria. You will work with the development and cloud teams to build the systems, frameworks, and patterns the development team will use to ensure quality product releases.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • BS degree in an engineering or computer discipline or relevant certification.
  • 5+ years software engineering or quality assurance experience.
  • Experience with the theoretical and practical purposes of various forms of Software Testing: Unit testing, Integration testing, System testing, Sanity testing, Smoke testing, Interface testing, Regression testing.
